If our view is that your boiler is uneconomical to repair and maintain then we would tell you before starting work. You may find that the costs of a completely new boiler can be covered by the Warm Front grant scheme, depending on whether you fit within the eligibility criteria. Assessing your Boiler Problems
First of all it’s important to identify the level of the boiler problem. In the first instance we encourage you to contact us to describe the problem you’re having.
If the problem sounds like it can be fixed by something simple, that you can do yourself then we’ll advise you of that on the phone or by email – at no cost to you.
If the problem appears to need boiler repairs then we will offer our plumbing services to you. Nine times out of ten we can identify the boiler repair problem by phone or email and can provide a quotation before you commit to us coming to help you.
Typical Problems with Boiler Systems Include:
- Controls (thermostats and programmers)
- Central heating boiler flame not firing
- Loose connections within the boiler mechanism
- Problems within flow and return pipes (to and from the boiler system)
- Something with the central heating system affecting the ability of the boiler system to function
